Curriculum vitae

Research focus

1. Experimental and numerical investigation of mass transfer processes from the grain scale to the field (diffusion and dispersion with sorption/desorption and reaction) 2. Field scale (cross compartment) input-output mass balances (atmospheric deposition – accumulation in soils – leaching to groundwater – transport to surface waters) 3. Laboratory: Development of sampling techniques and material testing (time integrated passive samplers, leaching tests for solid waste, recycling and construction products…, numerical design studies for waste management)
