Abstract / short description:
Different means are available to obtain information about teacher’s instructional quality including systematic
observations by trained observers or teacher’s self-report. One widely used approach for assessing teacher
instructional quality is student questionnaires which are also used in the majority of educational large-scale
assessments (e.g., PISA, IGLU, KESS, TRAIN). The aim of this project is to examine whether, or to what
extent, linguistic item features are systematically related to psychometric property of students’ ratings.
