Abstract / short description:
Art, music, and sport (KuMuS) are important forms of expression for children and young people. With adaptive teaching, teachers can specifically address heterogeneous learning prerequisites and individually promote the development of competencies in increasingly digitized KuMuS practices, for which digital technologies open up innovative possibilities. However, despite numerous lighthouse projects, previous digital teacher education initiatives have been characterized by limited reach, subject specificity, and insufficient cross-phase cooperation. The aim of the joint project is to establish an integrative overall concept for teacher education KuMuS in the form of three interdisciplinary and cross-phase networks (Further Training, Curriculum Development and Consulting, Future Innovation Hub) and a transversal work area Translation and Dissemination. The three networks focus on the adaptive, digital promotion of action-related competencies as a basis for sustainable participation in (extra-)school KuMuS practices in an increasingly digitally shaped living environment. Several teacher training locations in Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Rhineland-Palatinate are cooperating to bring modern teacher training courses along the various school types and subjects into the area in the competence network for the subjects of art, music, and PE applied for here. The research basis and quality of the resulting offers are guaranteed by the inclusion of relevant actors (IWM, DIE, DIPF, HdM) and the participating state institutes. The University of Tuebingen works in the subject of physical education (PE) and focuses primarily on the Curriculum Development and Consulting network. The project complements the BMBF-funded competence network MINT-ProNeD, which will start in 2023, and ties in with the infrastructure developed there, so that recognizable synergies arise in teacher training.
