The research activities in General Genetics are in the fields: Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Genetic Engineering of plants. The work of the four research groups in GG has several different basic and applied aspects; it is integrated in local (DFG-SFB), national (DFG, BMBF), and international (EC) co-operative research programs.
