Duration:
10/07/2020 to 30/06/2021
Abstract / short description:
The aim of this joint study (partners are the university departments of general medicine in Baden-Württemberg (Tübingen, Freiburg, Heidelberg, Ulm) is to analyze the experience and data collected in the above-mentioned outpatient departments in order to derive recommendations for future pandemic situations. One focus of the Tübingen subprojects is on the clinical course of Covid-19, for which a retrospective patient survey is planned to identify risk factors for a severe course and also for the so-called post-Covid-19 syndrome. In addition, in cooperation with other university and general medical institutions in Germany, it will be investigated what experiences the general practitioners have made in their cooperation with the outpatient Covid centres and what effects, if any, they have had on the care of non-covid patients.
Finally, the results of all subprojects will be discussed in a workshop with experts, decision makers of the health care system and representatives of the political level in order to derive concrete recommendations for action with regard to outpatient care structures and their interfaces in future pandemic situations.
