Basic data
Title:
News Fatigue and Solution-Oriented Journalism
Duration:
01/10/2022 to 31/12/2022
Abstract / short description:
The project aims to create a framework within which scholars from Tübingen and Aix/Marseille can agree on their shared research interests and thereby explore the viability of the overarching theme of "news fatigue and solution-oriented journalism" by establishing a teaching and research cooperation with l'Ecole de journalisme et de communication de Marseille (EJCAM). More specifically, the project aims to answer the question of which normative ideas can be observed about the responsiveness of digital self-care in the French media environment compared to the situation in Germany. Thus, the project aims to address pressing problems that arise in advancing digital mediatization. The project is innovative due to the interweaving of communicator and reception research.
