Abstract / short description:
Association of the occurrence of atrial fibrillation and impairment of cognitive function.
Primary endpoint: Association of burden of atrial fibrillation and impairment of cognitive function in patients 12 months after an embolic stroke of undetermined source (ESUS) as assessed by MoCA test.
Secondary endpoint: Association of burden of atrial fibrillation and a cognitive decline (MoCA test) in ESUS patients independent from new asymptomatic cerebral lesions. Number of patients: n = 476
