Abstract / Kurz- beschreibung:
The major focus of the CRU is to reduce the burden of health-care associated infections and antimicrobial resistant infections in Germany. The translational research carried out and supported by CRU will support the role of DZIF in its fight against the spread of antimicrobial resistant bacteria. Antimicrobial resistance has a significant impact not only at individual level but also at the institutional and community level. The broader focus of the research studies on AMR carried out by CRU at the patient level, hospital level and the community level will complement the scientific contributions of DZIF projects such as TIARA cohort and R‐Net 2.0.
