Abstract / short description:
The phenomenon of individual reaction patterns to different exercise regimens has been well described. Nevertheless, it is still not possible to design an "optimal" training program for a given individual. Our goal is to identify biological markers, mainly micro RNAs (miRs) and metabolic intermediates, that allow prediction of the individual response to exercise, both in the context of recreational and competitive sports.
