The main goal of this project to explore if, and if yes to which extent, with which techniques, and due to which physical processes, quantum sensing with NV-centers can benefit from coherent control of dense interacting spin ensembles. More specifically, we intend to develop new theoretical tools and new experimental techniques that allows us to optimize sensitivities even in the presence of strong interactions and on-site disorder, and decoherence
