01.01.2020 bis 31.12.2021
Abstract / Kurz- beschreibung:
During the last years, the archaeological evidences have come across several cultural movements during the Late Prehistory of the Iberian Peninsula. In this project, the main objective is to investigate the human mobility, diet and family affiliation and the biological and cultural diversity among the Late Neolithic and the Iron Age in south-west Iberia. This approach is based mainly on the analysis of human bone remains. Family relations will be based on the analysis of the dental non metric traits, while mobility will be assessed based on the analysis of strontium and oxygen stable isotopes. The investigation of diet will be done in order to understand the subsistence patterns using the carbon and nitrogen isotopes. All the data will be used to compare among individuals and faunal remains from the same burial, different ones and from different chronologies
