Abstract / short description:
Within the multi-centre, parallel-group, randomised controlled ENTAiER-study, the use of Tai Chi and Eurythmy therapy for fall prevention in chronically ill elderly people with an increased risk of falling is being investigated at 8 study centres in Germany. The Institute of General Medicine and Interprofessional Care is one of the recruiting study centres, the study is coordinated by the University Hospital Freiburg / University Centre Naturopathy. In addition, differences in fear of falling, mobility and balance, cognition and mood are examined.
