Abstract / short description:
The DECIDER project aims to develop robust design and implementation solutions and at the same time adjustable adjustment paths with regard to the reduction of flood risk in Ho Chi Minh City. For this purpose, socio-ecological risk trends are analyzed and integrated in a novel multi-dimensional and transdisciplinary framework and evaluated together with practice participants. Based on this, an DSS instrument for the will be developed and applied.
The subproject of the UNI-TUE in the context of the DECIDER project has two research priorities. The first aims at the multitemporal evaluation of urban development with satellite data in order to record urban growth trends in Ho Chi Minh City. The second focus
is based on the identification of damage-relevant urban structure types with a focus flood hazard risk areas.
