Württemberg und Montbéliard: Eine Wissensgeschichte politisch-administrativen Handelns im 18. Jh.

The focus of this project is on the administrative action in the county of Montbéliard between 1723 and 1793. Recently, approaches firmly rooted in cultural history and the history of knowledge have been applied to administrative history, and this project, taking its cue from this new perspective, interprets information-based government at a distance as a process of translation.
