PPP Frankreich 2018 Phase II

The project aims at obtaining highly directional and bright non-linear nanoantennas, based on Yagi-Uda geometries. The research works are distributed among the Institute of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, Institute of Applied Physics in the University of Tübingen and the Laboratoire de Nanotechnologies et d’Instrumentation Optique in the Technical university of Troyes, France. As the third-party collaboration partner, Politecnico di Milano is involved as well. The outcome could lead to significant advances in understanding nonlinear phenomena at nanostructures as well as a step towards applications in the field of sensors.
