Arbeitsmedizinische Untersuchungen im Rahmen des Projektes "Entwicklung eines Methodenpakets zur Gefährdungsanalyse bei physischen Belastungen"

Within the framework of the MEGAPHYS joint project, the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) and the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) are cooperating to develop a package of methods for the risk assessment of physical workload. The aim is to provide a scientifically sound inventory of methods that are coordinated with one another and classified according to effort at the various levels of differentiation within the risk assessment (special screening, expert screening, measurement-based analysis). In doing so, consideration should be made of all typical forms of work-related physical load. These include: manual material handling, repetitive work processes, working with greater exertion of force, working with greater physical effort, and evaluation of combined physical loads. The technical work is carried out in cooperation with project partners from the fields of occupational health, ergonomics, biomechanics, occupational physiology and occupational science.
The Institute of Occupational and Social Medicine and Health Services Research (IASV) carries out a subproject by performing the physical examination and a standardized survey in up to 1200 study participants working in different enterprises in Germany. By doing so, musculoskelettal complaints and physical examination results/ tentative diagnoses will be documented. The examination and survey will follow the standardised procedures developed within the whole project MEGAPHYS. Within the subproject, the IASV cooperates with KME GmbH (Kern Medical Engineering, Frankfurt/ Main).
