Title:
Cognitive control and the prefrontal cortex: Functional measurements and effects of neuromodulation in healthy controls and a highly-impulsive risk population
Duration:
15/04/2016 to 14/04/2019
Abstract / short description:
To examine the role of the prefrontal cortex for cognitive control, we plan to use a modified facial Stroop task and a recently developed flanker paradigm in combination with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) as well as functional neuroimaging methods (simultaneous NIRS and EEG). We conduct this study with healthy controls plus a highly-impulsive risk population.
