Entwicklung von Pseudomonas-spezifischen Antibiotika

Resistant Pseudomonads represent an emerging problem in hospitals. Thus, the project aims on the investigation and development on Pseudomonas-specific antibiotics. In the beginning we are investigating the compound promysalin as a future lead structure, which will be made available, with a translational focus biologically and toxicologically evaluated and studied regarding its so far unknown mode of action. In Addition, further promising Pseudomonas-specific compound classes will be explored as well.
