Basic data
Acronym:
PPPSLO
Title:
Plasmonic nanoparticle layers for optopelectronic applications
Duration:
14/01/2015 to 13/01/2017
Abstract / short description:
The project aims to gain new knowledge in the research and development of advanced nano-dimensional structures based on noble metals and organic semiconductors with the final goal to increase the device efficiency. The project aims are directed to development of optoelectronic devices employing unique physical properties of organic semiconductor structures and plasmonic nanoparticle layers primarily for application in organic photodetectors and organic photovoltaics. The expected results concern the device design and technology development to achieve qualitatively new electrical and optical properties of the devices based on plasmonic nanoparticle layers along with development of advanced structural, electrical and optical characterization methods to improve the fabrication technology of these devices.
