Basic data
Title:
ISES! Kids 2: Media education and media literacy in family education
Duration:
01/12/2022 to 31/03/2023
Abstract / short description:
More and more children are using digital games, social networks and streaming services. The use of such services carries the risk of developing an addiction. In order to support families with media education and prevent the possible development of symptoms of internet addiction, the ISES! Kids Training (Internet Addiction: Strengthening Parents!) was developed. As part of the funding, the program was translated into various languages. In addition, a training course for professionals was developed so that they can use ISES! Kids as multipliers. Furthermore, a systematic literature research on the influence of media-related parenting behavior on children's health was carried out as part of the funding. In addition, a survey was conducted with parents on their questions in the context of media education.
