Duration:

Abstract / short description:
CONFIDENCE establishes an evidence-based, primary care-based, multi-level care concept for people with post-infectious fatigue syndromes. General practitioners are supported in keeping the care of those affected in the primary care setting. Interprofessional cooperation with occupational, physical and psychotherapists among other medical professionals is being paved. Only when there is a specific need referrals are made to other medical specialists and/or the Baden-Württemberg post-COVID/post-infection university outpatient clinics are to be involved in the care. Patient-relevant information materials are developed. The latter are communicated on various media channels and aim at empowering patients and promoting disease-specific health literacy, thereby supporting the role of general practitioners as the first point of contact within the health care system.
