Abstract / short description:
The work addresses the design, synthesis, characterization, and applications of magnetic sorbent based molecularly imprinted polymers (M-MIPs) with special morphologies (core-shell). The M-MIP sorbent will be synthesised via a polymerization procedure. After an extensive characterization of the synthesizsed materials, their extraction performance will be investigated in various applications. The sample preparation method will be combined with chromatographic and isotope ratio mass spectrometer approaches and will be validated for the determination of a specific group of polyphosphonate compounds. Finally, the proposed MSPE-LC-IRMS method will be applied for the analysis of various environmental samples.
