Ukraine digital: Studienerfolg in Krisenzeiten sichern

We join forces and combine the experience of 10 Ukrainian, 3 German, and 2 other European Universities to enable Ukrainian students to complete their education despite the war, by providing cutting-edge/state-of-the-art knowledge in the areas of life sciences and data literacy. This project builds on our presently running and extremely successful project “Modular online course „Integrative Life Sciences for Ukrainian biology students”, which engaged 658 students from ≥ 40 Ukrainian universities. Efficient project implementation is supported by the web page (http://lifesciencescourse.org/), enabling registered users to communicate and exchange course materials.
Building on this backbone, the current project aims to continue providing successful courses, adjust them according to the student’s feedback and make them more sustainable and suitable for self-education by creating more publicly available course materials.
Besides, we aim to support the integration of Ukrainian students into European education and research area by widening their professional network within Germany and Ukraine beyond academia, thus enabling them to make a more educated choice for their future careers.
