Title:
Does the concentration of atmospheric CO2 indicate ecosystem recovery dynamics after the impact of droughts and heat waves?
Duration:
01/04/2024 to 31/03/2026
Abstract / short description:
The research focuses on the ecosystem recovery process after the extreme event and proposes a new method for exploring its dynamics. The method is based on the atmospheric CO2 concentration change in the areas of damaged ecosystems. Compared to existing approaches, the new one will provide real-time data about the ecosystem state and its change after the end of the negative impact.
