Mr. León-Muñoz is working with biomechanics simulations of feeding behaviour in the Neogene group of carnivores, Amphicyonidae. He will collect 3d data, i.e. microCT and surface scan datasets, of skulls and lower jaws of different species and use Finite Element Analysis to test different feeding scenarios.
