Abstract / short description:
The subject of the study is gender representation and diversity in ORF children's television. The study focuses on various programs designed for children. Of interest is how visible and audible children and adults are in ORF's children's programming, which different social categories of difference are represented by them, and whether ORF's TV offerings for children live up to the expectation that they should reflect the variety and diversity prevailing in society with regard to gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, origin and place of residence, class and stratum, formal education, physical and mental ability, and much more.
