Abstract / short description:
Funding programme "Carl Zeiss Foundation Fund for the Appointment of International Researchers"

Funding of additional infrastructure and equipment that is not yet available at the Tübingen location and therefore needs to be procured or adapted:

- specialised devices for behavioural measurement: electrical stimulation devices, eye-tracking devices and a so-called force-gripper, in order to be able to measure and influence complex decision-making behaviour
- Substantial development work to adapt the very successful research app BrainExplorer and make it compatible with local data protection regulations.
- Upgrade of existing infrastructure (esp. de.NBI cluster) and expansion with additional computing resources (hardware) for very computationally intensive and highly specialised analyses and modelling (machine learning with behavioural and imaging data)

Tobias Hauser appointment funds 120000€ (investment funds)
