Abstract / short description:
In the project the OPTOCYCLE GmbH & Co. KG and the Chair of Cognitive Systems (University of Tübingen) will develop a prototype within 24 months that will enable the optical detection and recognition of mineral material fractions (using machine learning algorithms) in construction waste piles. For the first time, the compositions can thus be recorded reproducibly in the form of real-time analytics already on the loading platform of the truck (and not only in the sorting plant).
This technology is a disruptive process innovation for ecologically and economically efficient routing, a sustainable resource cycle, and opens up radical innovation potential in the marketplace of the circular economy.
