ProjectThe interplay between endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria in protein targeting and mistargeting

Basic data

Title:
The interplay between endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria in protein targeting and mistargeting
Duration:
01/04/2023 to 31/03/2026
Abstract / short description:
Collectively, it appears that the steady state localization of mitochondrial and ER proteins is dictated by a fine balance of targeting to, integration into, or extraction from the involved membranes. Our collaborative goal in this project is to combine our expertise and efforts to better understand how this array of events is regulated to assure the proper maintenance of membrane identity for each organelle.
