Basic data
Acronym:
HIT-LEAD-MEK
Title:
Establishment and implementation of a hit screen system for functional identification of nine MEK inhibitors
Duration:
01/10/2022 to 31/03/2024
Abstract / short description:
The aim of the project is to investigate the medicinal chemistry campaign for the establishment of new MEK inhibitors. In cellular test systems hits will be defined as well as the EC50 will be determined. Both antiviral and immunomodulatory properties of the newly synthesized MEK inhibitors will be investigated. For this purpose 4 work packages (APs) will be defined. In the first two APs, antiviral hit screening (AP 1) and hit screening for immunomodulation (AP 2) will be performed. In APs 3-4, the antiviral EC50 (AP 3) as well as the immunomodulatory EC50 values will be determined (AP 4).
