Abstract / short description:
The aim of the proposed project is to evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and feasibility of various complementary medical interventions in the areas of exercise therapy (HIIT), mind-body techniques (yoga), and physical therapy (IHHE) on cognitive and physical performance and health in individuals with MCI, compared to placebo (sham IHHE, IHHE-S). Accordingly, the primary objective is to demonstrate the superiority of the complementary medicine interventions over the placebo intervention in terms of cognitive performance. Furthermore, additional research questions will address both secondary outcome measures and a comparison of the effects of the complementary medicine interventions with one another.
