Title:
Increasing adherence to endocrine therapy for mamma carcinoma – a feasibility study
Duration:
01/01/2025 to 31/12/2027
Abstract / short description:
Anti-hormonal therapy for hormone-sensitive mamma carcinoma is associated with higher overall survival if the medication is taken over 5-10 years. However, it leads to various side effects that often limit adherence to therapy. Therapeutic approaches from Complementary and Integrative Medicine can be used to alleviate these side effects. A randomized pilot study will investigate the feasibility of a complex intervention that includes both individual interprofessional CCC-Integrative Counselling and a Mind-Body Medicine group intervention for lifestyle modification. The aim of the project is to explore the feasibility and to improve the planning of a confirmatory study.
