Establishment of a biobank for the STEP Registry for rare pediatric tumors

The aim of the project is to establish a biobank that will serve as a foundation for research on rare pediatric tumors, for which current scientific knowledge is insufficient and prognosis remains poor due to a limited understanding of their biological characteristics. The project will create an infrastructure that enables access to high-quality biological material and associated clinical data. Through national and international collaboration, it seeks to improve understanding of the causes and mechanisms of these tumors and to develop innovative therapeutic approaches. In doing so, the project sets a strong example for advancing research in rare pediatric tumors and fostering hope for better future outcomes for affected children.
