The 7th edition of the internationally renowned conference series "Novel Concepts in Innate Immunity" (NCII 2027) addresses current breakthroughs in innate immunity at the intersection of oncology, microbiome research, and infectious diseases. The objective is to discuss the latest trends (including tissue-specific immunity and host-microbiota interactions) and to strengthen Germany's position as a leading research hub in a US-dominated field.

The conference will be held in Tübingen using a hybrid format. This ensures maximum global reach and provides barrier-free access, particularly for researchers from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The program features keynotes by leading international scientists (including Jenny Ting, USA), around 20 oral presentations and lightning talks for targeted early-career support, as well as direct exchange on unpublished data with editors from top-tier journals (e.g., Science, Nature).
