Abstract / short description:
In April 2027, the biennial conference of the International Academy of Practical Theology (IAPT) will take place in Tübingen. Under the title “(Con)tested Knowledge: Production, Formation, and Deconstruction,” scholars from around the world will discuss current challenges facing the field. The keynote addresses will focus on issues of diversity and decolonization (1), the relationship between religion and the current hazad of authoritarianism (2), and the influence of AI on practical theological research (3).
