ACHILLES is designed to cultivate a new generation of leaders in experimental hemato-oncology,
equipping them with a comprehensive skill set to drive their careers forward in this critical field. This
Doctoral Network (DN) brings together 14 beneficiary institutions from 10 EU countries and one
associated state, five of which are MSCA Widening Countries (Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal, Romania
and Serbia). Additionally, one non-EU state (Switzerland) will self-fund its participation. Through this
collaborative network, ACHILLES will train a total of 16 Doctoral Candidates (DCs), with the support
of 10 associated partners, including two industrial collaborators specializing in translational medicine
and the European Hematology Association, a leading organization that fosters research, education, and
collaboration among researchers across Europe
