Rural Doctors program evaluation
Duration:
01/04/2025 to 31/10/2025
Abstract / short description:
There are funding schemes and support programs available for physicians who choose to establish their practice in a rural area – among them, the “Rural Doctors” program run by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, and Integration. These programs, primarily offering financial support, aim to improve outpatient medical care in rural regions.
The objectives of the research project are to evaluate the “Rural Doctors” program and to assess which support elements particularly encourage physicians to establish practices in rural areas. The data collection will be conducted using a self-developed questionnaire distributed to graduates of the “Rural Doctors” program as well as to physicians in training in the field of general medicine
