Abstract / short description:
Ein REM ist für eine materialorientiert ausgerichtete Forschungseinrichtung ein zentrales Instrument. Die Antragsteller betreiben Forschungen an Oberflächenschichten und anderen Nanoobjekten. Eine komplementäre Abbildung zu untersuchender Nanoobjekte (plasmonische Strukturen, Inseln, Einzelmoleküle) mit einem hochauflösenden REM im Vergleich zu diesen Rastersondentechniken
ist für die Probencharakterisierung als auch die methodische Weiterentwicklung von Schlüssel-bedeutung. Für organische und isolierende Schichten sind gute Abbildungsbedingungen bei niedrigen Energien erforderlich.
