Abstract / short description:
Clinical trial in order to improve bone healing through EMF therapies at the Clinic for Trauma Surgery (EKUT), BG Klinik Tübingen. Aim is to derive therapies (ore recommendations for therapeutic possibilities) for fracture healing. The basis for the here proposed study are in vitro experiments with osteoblast that were conducted in the Siegfried Weller Institute for Trauma Research between 2011 and 2015. Bone material and blood samples which are necessary for the further study and which stem from clinically obligatory surgical interventions will be investigated in vitro in the Siegfried Weller Institute and compared to clinical data. Furthermore, various electromagnetic field conditions will be applied.
