Abstract / short description:
Exploring the structure of exotic nuclear systems, which are outside the valley of stability on the basis of realistic models of the NN interaction

How to explain the creation and abundancies of the various nuclear isotopes. This is one of the main challenges of nuclear structure physics in cooperation with astrophysics and cosmology. This project develops methods and calculation tools to describe weakly bound nuclei and quasi nuclear structure embedded in the crust of neutron stars.
